The Hospice of East Texas is committed to the promise that every patient and family who needs our services will receive them, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Medicare, Medicaid and many private insurance companies provide hospice benefits which reimburse The Hospice of East Texas for the clinical care we provide to covered patients. Each year we provide more than $1 million in uncompensated care to families who either had no insurance or whose coverage did not include hospice benefits. In addition, The Hospice of East Texas offers extensive bereavement support programs to both hospice families and the community at large, all free of charge.
As The Hospice of East Texas is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, your donation is tax deductible, and there may be further tax advantages with carefully planned giving.
