Pet Support

Pets play an important role in the life of many families. The Hospice of East Texas is committed to helping patients care for the pets they love during this season of life. Our staff and volunteers help provide pet food for patients’ animal companions and as resources allow, support for basic veterinary needs.

The Hospice of East Texas believes that no one should have to worry about how to care for a beloved pet while facing a terminal illness.

How you can help…

Become a trained hospice volunteer. Hospice covers 23 East Texas counties and volunteers are needed throughout the region.

Be a program partner in providing needed services.
